About Dubai Healthcare City
Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) is a healthcare free zone located in Bur Dubai. It was established in 2002 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice-president and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to provide exceptional healthcare services and develop medical tourism in Dubai.
The vision behind creating DHCC is to have an internationally recognized hub for medical research and educational institutions.
