About Bluewaters
Bluewaters Island is a magnificent man-made island in Dubai, home to the world’s biggest observation wheel (Ain Dubai) and luxurious hotels, residences, entertainment, and dining options.
Bluewaters Island's location is 400 meters off the Jumeirah Beach Residence coastline and close to Dubai Marina. It’s accessible by a 265-meter pedestrian bridge from The Beach opposite JBR or by car through the exit from Sheikh Zayed Road.
The project was developed by Meraas Holding who worked with the contractor Van Oord, the Dutch firm that worked on Palm Jumeirah, and cost approximately AED 6 billion.
