Al Madam is a small town in Sharjah, UAE, located at the intersection of the Dubai-Hatta (E44) and Mleiha-Shwaib (E55) roads. Thus, most of the development in this area focused on these road links and the traffic through Hatta to Oman.


The area houses an abandoned village, also known as a 'Ghost Town' and 'Buried Village' as it features abandoned houses buried in the sand. It's also in close proximity to Badayer, which houses the 'Big Red' sand dune, making it popular dune bashing tourist attraction.
