Step-by-Step Process to Issue a Title Deed in RAK for the First Time

Once preparations are complete, follow these 6 steps to issue a title deed easily:

Step 1: Sign up on the RAK Portal

Visit the RAK Government website and sign up using the UAE Pass. Choose the RAK Municipality option under the ‘Government tab‘. Then click on the ‘Land and Property tab’.

Step 2: Issue Title Deed For First Time Option

  • Search for The ‘Issue Title Deed for the First Time’ option on the tab.                                             
  • Select the option to view the overall process and requirements.
  • Make sure to cross-check everything before proceeding.
  • Click on the Start Service button.

Step 3: Process the Request

  • Start filling out the form by providing correct information to avoid any future issues.
  • Upload all the documents applicable as per the choice of category.
  • A tip is to follow the guidelines to avoid any delay in the issuance process.
  • Hit the submit button.
  • Soon, a confirmation message and email will be sent.

Step 4: Pay the Service Fees

The next step in the issuance process is to pay the required amount.

  • To pay the pending amount, log in to the RAK Portal. In the payment requests option, review the amount of payment pending.
  • Decide how to pay using credit/debit cards or other means. Accept the terms and conditions and pay the fees.

Step 5: Reviewing Process

Now is the time for the land and property department to review the request and accept it or request changes.

  • Any updates on the request will be shown in the notifications tab. On the RAK Portal, these are visible under the ‘My Notifications’ section.
  • Choose the Title Deed Request and see what changes are required.
  • If there is any need to add a document, click on ‘Add Attachment’.
  • After completing, save the changes and wait for approval from the department.

Step 6: Receiving the Title Deed for the First Time

Once the land and property department of RAK approves the request, the title deed will be issued. A notification will be sent to the provided email address. An electronic copy of the title deed will be attached to the email. Visit the Customer Happiness Centre in Ras Al Khaimah to get the official title deed.
