- If a third party logs in to a subscriber’s account, the subscriber will be responsible for it. This means for any criminal and civil legal issues, the subscriber will be held responsible and no claims will be made to third parties. Moreover, the authority will not wait for judicial rulings.
- The users must refrain from using wrong information or forged attachments to use any E-service. Under such circumstances, the Municipality has the right to inform relevant authorities of the misuse and can also impose fines on the user.
- If a subscriber pays on behalf of a tenant, they will be held responsible for collecting fines and fees from the tenant. In case of a dispute with the third party, the subscriber does not have the right to file claims against the Municipality. However, the municipality can do so.
- Sharjah Municipality will not be responsible for financial loss during e-transactions.
- If a user fails to renew the tenancy agreement on time, fines may be imposed.
- The fees for paper contracts and e-contracts are the same.
- Refrain from breaching laws and misusing government data. In case of such misconduct, the municipality can impose fines and also report the case to relevant authorities.
- E-subscriptions of tenancy contracts in Sharjah are valid for one year.
