Architecture
While the Sharjah Mosque was built in the Ottoman style, it looks like it was built in the traditional Islamic style. The main prayer hall is very big and has a beautiful dome-shaped roof with Arabic writing and gold accents. The domes, minarets, and columns are all built in a unique Islamic style, and they are surrounded by parks and water fountains. Plus, the Sharjah Mosque looks very fancy thanks to its beautiful central chandelier. That is the semicircular space at the front of the hall that shows the direction of prayer.
