We continued our winning streak in 2013 by winning the title of the Online Business of the Year award at the 2013 Gulf Capital SMEinfo Awards yesterday. Rewarding and celebrating industry excellence, the Gulf Capital SMEinfo Awards honour the outstanding contributions of the UAE’s most successful small and medium enterprises (SME’s) and provide a huge platform to recognise their success.
More than 400 attendees celebrated the innovation and entrepreneurial spirit of the UAE’s SME’s and toasted the evening’s big winners, who were chosen from an impressive array of entries representing a broad range of industries.
As the UAE’s finest entrepreneurs gathered at the the event at Dubai World Trade Centre, our CEO and Founder Michael Lahyani said, “Featuring in the list of Dubai’s top 100 SME’s for the second time in a row is a proud moment for us as the competition this year was tougher with three times the number of applications as compared to 2012. 2013 has also been a milestone year for us with new office launches across the GCC and being recognised once again in a much bigger landscape is a great way to wrap up the year’s achievements.”
The acknowledgment, which comes straight from the government of Dubai, is testament to the arduous journey that Lahyani and our Managing Director and Partner, Renan Bourdeau, embarked on as they set up the company in 2007.
“It has been a whirlwind year for us with phenomenal month-over-month traffic growth and regional expansion. With numerous innovative initiatives lined up, 2014 should be another tremendous year,” said Bourdeau.
