Prison Island is an immersive, interactive experience created for people looking to test their mental and physical limits. It is inspired by the popular television series Fort Boyard and the Crystal Maze puzzle-solving game.
The area of Prison Island is more than 4,000 square metres in size. It is divided into 26 challenging cells where you and your group find themselves ‘locked’. Each cell has its own special set of puzzles and challenges to work through, making it one of the popular escape rooms in Abu Dhabi Emirate.
Your goal? Complete as many puzzles as you can in the allotted time to leave the island before time runs out.

How The Game Works
Prepare yourself for an exciting journey where escaping Prison Island will need strategy and coordination.
- Team Size: Players can compete in groups of 2 to 6.
- Timer: Once you enter the prison, the clock starts to tick.
- Challenges: Navigate through 26 distinct cells, each offering a unique challenge. Some challenges need physical strength. While others need keen observation, reasoning or collaboration.
- Points: Completing tasks will earn you points, which you will see on the scoreboard.
- No Restrictions: Unlike regular escape rooms, you can move freely between the cells. Try another if the first one seems too difficult, but don’t forget to watch the time.
- Additional Info: For added fun, there are 2 party rooms available for celebrations. Please note that children aged 8 to 11 must be accompanied by an adult. With 8 guards on-site, safety is assured as you begin this thrilling adventure.
BoxedIn – A Unique Adventure Game in Prison Island
A thrilling new escape game at Prison Island in Abu Dhabi called ‘Boxed In’ is sure to enthral puzzle-lovers and thrill-seekers. Teams have to work against the time to solve around 80 different puzzles that are housed in challenging boxes. Players must solve riddles inside the boxes to earn tokens during each 60-minute game.
Capacity
12 boxes can be tackled by 10 teams (40 players) or 5 teams (20 players) can take on 6 boxes at the same time. A team can have 2 to 4 players.
