2. Sharjah Aquarium
Sharjah Aquarium is located in the Al Khan Old area and was opened on 6 June 2008. It spans 6,500 square metres across two floors and features 21 aquariums containing 1.8 million litres of water, showcasing around 100 marine species native to the Arabian Gulf. This includes clownfish, seahorses, moray eels, sea rays and reef sharks.

3. Sharjah Science Museum

6. The Blue Souk
The Blue Souk, also known as the Central Souk or Souk Al-Markazi, is one of Sharjah’s most iconic landmarks. Designed by British architects Michael Lyle & Partners under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the market was completed in 1978.
Its distinctive blue-tiled façade and traditional Islamic architectural elements make it a prominent feature on the UAE’s AED 5 banknote. Located between King Faisal Road and Khalid Lagoon, the souk comprises two large buildings connected by bridges.
