Want to be advised by an expert in the industry? Mohamed Adel will tell you more about buying and selling a property!
How long have you been in the industry?
I’ve been in the industry for three years.
Which areas do you specialise in?
I am specialised in Ajman, specially in Al Mwaihat and Al Rawda areas.
Why did you decide to become a real estate agent?
It was a recommendation from one of my friends, and when I came here I found it was a good way to meet people and do a great job in the UAE so I went ahead with it!
How would you describe the current property market?
The current property market is a buyer’s market where the buyer has the power in negotiations.
Tell me about your big achievement? Last month’s big sale(s)
I sold one villa and found a tenant for it very shortly after. The price of the villa was around AED 1,750,000.
How do you tailor your approach so you set yourself apart?
Having the right data about my areas is a key point. Therefore I can transfer this information to my client in a very transparent way so that he can take the right decision. And also I try to understand what are my clients’ requirements in order to help them out as best as I can.
Property seekers are always after their ideal location, and all kept within a certain budget. How do you strike the balance to get them what they want?
Understanding my clients’ needs is essential, so that I can make priorities. Clients must understand that they can’t get everything, therefore I need to show them some properties on their budget, over their budget and lower than their budget so that they can know what’s the difference. So in this case, they’ll try to push their budget for a little so that they can get what they need.
Any words of advice for someone looking to sell their property in Ajman?
Don’t offer your property to all agents because some of them maybe give fake prices hoping it finalises the deal. Only choose one or two trusted agents and offer them you property and they will advise you on what’s the best to do!
What’s your best-negotiating tip?
Don’t kill the hope! Because some clients when they start the negotiation with a very big gap in price, they tend to think they will get the maximum price or profit from the deal. The problem is that when the owner feels that there’s a big gap between him and the buyer, he won’t negotiate and he will hold his price till the client gives him a good price.
What’s your favourite thing to do on your days off?
I enjoy sleeping 🙂 As real estate brokers, we can’t switch off of our mobile and avoid calls. Maybe this one call might be my monthly salary 🙂
If you didn’t work in real estate, what career would you pursue?
Automotive, I have a passion and good knowledge of cars.
What is the question you are most often asked by property seekers?
What’s the final price?!
How big of a role does Property Finder play in your job? What specifically do you use Property Finder for?
We were actually one of the first agents to offer villas in Ajman on Property Finder. To me, Property Finder has helped in learning how to deal with different clients, it gives me the chance to meet people from everywhere and communicate with them.
I use Property Finder to get fresh leads!
