1. Snow Abu Dhabi
A wintery adventure park is set to open in Abu Dhabi, hailed as the largest snow park in the world. This new project in Abu Dhabi will introduce an enchanted forest theme for all ages, featuring various experiences for extra excitement.
Snow Abu Dhabi’s construction is ongoing within the stunning upcoming Reem Mall. There will be many rides and attractions all spread across an area of 125,000 sq.ft.
Degrees will strictly kept at -2 all year round, so it’ll become your perfect chill spot during the summer months.

The project is being built inside Reem Mall on Reem Island, Abu Dhabi.
Expected Completion
It was expected to open at the end of 2020, but there were delays. An official date hasn’t been announced yet.
2. Al Qana
Another entry in the upcoming projects in Abu Dhabi is Al Qana, an extravagant addition to the city’s entertainment scene. The mega project will be the best waterfront hub you could ask for, offering a range of attractions that will mesmerize.
From world-class dining, a luxury marina, unmatched water views, and fitness facilities to the ultimate gaming hub and cinema, Al Qana is set to impress.
It is worth noting that Al Qana will also have the biggest aquarium in the entire region, offering ten zones to discover. The aquarium will have a state-of-the-art rehabilitation centre for endangered species.

Al Qana is located in Rabdan, Khor Al Maqta, in Abu Dhabi.
Expected Completion
Al Qana is expected to be completed in 2021.
3. Yas Bay
One of the most anticipated ventures in Abu Dhabi is a new project on Yas Island called Yas Bay. The development will cater to residents seeking a truly luxurious lifestyle, with a range of elegant residences, various high-end commercial spaces, parks, and much more.
It will also include a massive arena, beach club, creative hub, and waterfront pier. Furthermore, two hotels will call Yas Bay home, including Hilton Yas Bay which will feature a floating beach!
Yas Bay is a whopping $12 Billion project which is planned to have residential spaces for just about 15,000 people. It doesn’t get any more “mega” than this!

Yas Bay is located on the south side of the iconic Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
Expected Completion
Before 2020, it was reported that 75% of this development has been completed. With delays last year, it is expected to be done by the end of 2021/beginning of 2022.
4. Zayed National Museum
The capital is getting a beautiful museum in honor of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE’s founding father.
Celebrating the rule of Sheikh Zayed and taking a deep look into the history of the country, this major upcoming project in Abu Dhabi is a very important one. It will allow visitors to delve into the culture of Abu Dhabi and the UAE as a whole in an interesting light.
One of the highlights of Zayed National Museum will be its design, shaped like falcon wings in honor of the national symbol of the country.

5. Warner Bros Hotel
The records just keep on coming! Can you imagine what it would feel like to stay in a Warner Bros.-themed hotel? You could be finding out very soon.
Abu Dhabi is bringing you Warner Bros. Hotel which will have a range of rooms designed after your favorite characters from Daffy Duck to Bugs Bunny. This ongoing project in Abu Dhabi is the first of its kind in the entire world.
You get to enjoy a range of facilities including a grand fitness spa, Warner Bros. restaurant, and rooftop pool. That’s all folks!

6. Reem Mall
When we say the future is here, something like Reem Mall comes to mind, one of the most distinctive future projects in Abu Dhabi. This project is not really your average shopping mall, described as “The World’s First Omnichannel Mall.”
So, what does that mean? It mainly mixes the concept of a digital shopping experience with the traditional one. A shopper can use their app or website to shop and data from your shopping habits are used for redemption of specific promotions tailored to your needs.
Reem Mall is the very first mall that’s fully enabled digitally. Like we said, the future is here!

7. Guggenheim Abu Dhabi
Great news if you’re an art lover, the popular Guggenheim museum is set to open in the heart of Abu Dhabi. Designed by Frank Gehry, once it’s finished it will truly take everyone’s breath away with its unique contemporary vibes.
It is set to be just as magnificent as its many counterparts around the world. The museum will display a range of modern art and contemporary pieces as well. There will be a total of 4 levels surrounding the middle atrium connected by bridges made of glass.
