How to Get There
Reaching Jazirah Aviation Club is no hassle. Visitors can travel to JAC using RAK’s public transport, such as the public buses. You can also travel via a private vehicle.
Take the following route if you are visiting JAC via a private car:
- Head to Emirates Road towards Ras Al Khaimah and take Exit 110.
- Turn left, travel 8 km towards T junction, and head to E11.
- Turn right, and after 5.5 km, the JAC signboard appears.
- On E11, JAC is present 2 km before RAK Ceramics.

After gaining membership at JAC, 25 hours of ground school training are recommended for first-time pilots. An experienced instructor assists you with your Dual Flights after completing 23 hours of ground school.
Members go on a solo flight after completing training. Moreover, you obtain your light sport aircraft flight permit after completing 7 solo flight hours.
Gyrocopter
Go on a safe flight on a gyrocopter, even if you fear flying. The gyrocopter uses an unpowered rotor to lift and a propeller to gain forward thrust. It can fly at low speeds and land easily, making it a safe option for flight training.
Fixed Wing
Jazirah Aviation Club’s fixed-wing flights are an excellent way to partake in flying for the first time. The fixed-wing aircraft moves forward and generates lift through its stationary wings. With a minor pressure difference, the plane flies easily.
