Jais Sledder is a one-of-a-kind coaster experience in Ras Al Khaimah set on Jebel Jais mountain peak in the Hajar mountain range. It is the longest toboggan ride in the region stretching 1,840 metres with exciting curves and turns. This alpine coaster is designed for thrill-seekers, offering an exhilarating descent through stunning mountainous landscapes.
The ride is built to the highest safety and technical standards that adhere to the ISO 19202 criteria. Moreover, it’s open to riders as young as three years old, making it a fantastic attraction for families with kids. This heart-racing adventure is part of Jais Adventure Park, one of the best parks in RAK, which is home to several other similar activities like ziplining, hiking, and sky tour.

What to Expect
Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with stunning views of the Hajar Mountains along with fellow adventurers gearing up for their ride. After securing your ticket, you’ll be guided to the boarding area, where trained staff will assist in getting you seated and ready. The sledges are designed to seat two people comfortably, one in the front and one in the back. Each sledder has access to a braking system, allowing them to control their speed.
As the ride begins, you will hurtle down the mountain swerving through the stunning views of the coastline. The total ride lasts about eight minutes, with speeds reaching up to 40 kilometres/hour. Once you figure out how the braking system works, you’ll be able to customise the speed of your ride to your liking.
