Launched by the RTA, the Dubai Ferry has comfortable seats, air-conditioned cabins, restrooms, and snacking kiosks. It is the perfect way to explore the city. The air-conditioned cabins provide an excellent escape from the hot weather and accommodate around 100 passengers.

The ferry routes cover major tourist attractions, making it a popular choice. Passengers can purchase their tickets from the terminals. In addition, the ticket pricing varies with the seating class, and family packages are available as a more economical option.

  • Al Ghubaiba to Dubai Marina: Return route.
  • Circular Route from Dubai Marina: This route allows passengers to view Palm Jumeirah and the majestic Atlantis Hotel.
  • Dubai Canal Marine Transport Station to Al Ghubaiba: This route allows passengers to go ashore from Dubai Canal Station, overlooking the Dubai Water Canal Bridge and Burj Khalifa.
  • Dubai Canal Marine Transport Station to Dubai Marina: Tourists can take this route to visit the Marina Mall while enjoying sightseeing at Palm Jumeirah.
  • Dubai to Sharjah: The voyage is from Al Ghubaiba Marine Transport Station to Sharjah Aquarium Marine Transport Station.
  • Sharjah to Dubai: Return route.

Timings for Ferry Trips

Dubai Ferry operates at varying schedules depending on the route and terminal. If you plan to take a trip, you are advised to confirm the schedule with RTA beforehand.

  • Dubai Marina – Al Ghubaiba: departs at 01:00 pm and 06:00 pm. 
  • Dubai Marina Circular Trip: departs at 11:30 am and 04:30 pm.
  • Al Ghubaiba – Dubai Marina: departs at 01:00 pm and 06:00 pm.
  • Dubai Water Canal – Dubai Marina: departs at 01:50 pm and 06:50 pm.
  • Dubai Water Canal – Al Ghubaiba: departs at 02:05 pm and 07:05 pm.
