4. Blood Transfusion and Research Centre – Sharjah

Blood Donation Rules in the UAE
If you are thinking of participating in this noble cause and donating blood in the UAE, consider these requirements:
- Donors must be aged 18 to 65.
- Individuals must weigh 50 kg or above.
- Donors must be healthy and should not have any major health conditions.
- Blood pressure should be in the normal range:
- Systolic blood pressure must not measure above 180 mm Hg or below 90 mm Hg
- Diastolic blood pressure must not measure above 100 mm Hg or below 50 mm Hg.
- The body temperature of the donor must be lower than or equal to 37.5°C.
- Individuals must have a pulse rate of 50 to 100 beats per minute.
- Donors must carry a valid Emirates ID.
