Understanding Clearance Certificate

Etihad Water and Electricity (EWE) is an electricity and water supply entity. Previously known as the Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA), it is the main authority in the Northern Emirates. These include Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah.

EWE handles everything from installing new connections to service disconnection. When leaving the premises permanently, applying for a service disconnection is mandatory.

EWE issues a clearance certificate once the customer settles the last invoice amount. It is proof that the customer has no outstanding dues and bill payments.

Process to Get a Clearance Certificate from EWE

Our step-by-step guide will make it easier to apply for a clearance certificate from EWE. Whether you prefer the cost and time-saving online method or the traditional in-person service, EWE offers both.
