- A bounced cheque will result in an AED 50 fine.
- If services are disconnected due to non-payment, restoring the connection will cost AED 100.
- Violations with any ADDC’s equipment will result in an AED 10,000 fine.
- Supplying ADDC services to others will cost an AED 10,000 fine, in addition to consumption fees and other damage costs.
- Customers must not reconnect services without informing ADDC. Doing so will lead to an AED 1000 fine, in addition, deposit and overdue payments will be taken.
- A Clearance Certificate must be obtained at the end of the residency contract, or extra charges will be added to future fines or consumption fees on the same account.
- If customers do not follow ADDC’s terms, their services can be disconnected.
- Customers must update their details in the agreement to avoid any issues.
- If bills are not paid for over 60 days, ADDC can disconnect services without warning.
- Customers must pay the security deposit as per ADWEA’s regulations.
- No new applications will be accepted from the same account after moving out.
How to Get a Commercial ADDC Connection in Abu Dhabi
If you buy or rent a commercial property, they can also apply for the ADDC connection. For commercial property, the process of connection remains the same, however, the required documents are different. You need copies of the following documents:
